After a number of initial versions, the client came around to this design because the company was going to 24-hour service, and the sunburst/crescent around the 'A' hit on that point.

An athletic/school logo for High Point Academy, a K-8 charter school in Aurora, CO.

The school wanted something that looked realistic, but they also needed something that could be easily replicated on a number of different types of merchandise. With the help of a picture from a family friend, they enthusiastically adopted this logo.

Logo for the July 4th Family Festival, which is the Independence Day celebration put on by the City of Northglenn every year.

This is the biggest celebration for the city each year, with the highlight being the fireworks at the end - so that's what I was going for with this logo. The letters stand out with the red, white and blue bouncing off each other within the 3-D text, similar to what you'd see on the cover of a comic book. Then came the multi-colored fireworks flashes in the background.

The City of Northglenn wanted a logo for its year-long Huron Street Reconstruction Project. This logo was used on the city Web site and various documents related to the project.

This was a huge project for the city, as one of its main streets was being completely rebuilt from sidewalk to sidewalk. I focused on the idea that up to this point the street had been an albatross around the city's neck, and now they could move forward - literally down the road. The street and the colored triangles are all directed towards the vanishing point. The colors are the city's official blue and green colors, but also represent the underground and sidewalk work that had to be done besides the road.

Logo for Safe Street Halloween, which is a joint effort between the Northglenn Police Department and Northglenn High School. It provides a safe (and a little scary) place where parents can take their kids trick-or-treating. The logo had to balance the line between between having the edge and scariness of Halloween, while not actually scaring some of the little kids who would be attending the event.

This logo came together very quickly - inserting the national Association of Rehabilitation Nurses into the center of the 'C' of the state of Colorado flag. The colors were already set.

Artist Edge Photography, a business started by a freelance photographer based out of Denver, needed a package of work done. I played the logo off the name of the business, along with the client's desire to have purple and black to be the main colors.

Logo for the City of Northglenn's Channel 8. I received the inspiration for this logo from the logo for the TV show NUMB3RS. The colors are two of the official colors for the City of Northglenn.

Logo for Noel Northglenn, the city of Northglenn's yearly celebration to kick off the holiday season.

During Noel Northglenn, the mayor and Santa Claus turn on the holiday lights on the city's recreation center, so I depicted a glowing Christmas tree ornament along with some festive fonts.

The City of Northglenn needed a logo for their 'Shop Northglenn' campaign. The city has a set of standard colors that are used for design projects from which I designed this logo from. I was going for a department store style with this logo - something classy, yet eye-catching.
